3 Breakfast Ideas 1: Powerpack Smoothie Bowl and Fudge Brownies

Power Pack Smoothie Bowl

WHAT YOU WILL NEED //

  • 1 frozen Banana
  • a handful of frozen Spinach
  • 3 tbsp Nutella or Hazel nut chocolate spread
  • Cilantro
  • Nut butter (Almond, any of your favorite kind will do)
  • Mint

HOW TO DO //

Blend all together in a food processor or blender and pour into a bowl or cup when smooth. Top with fruits or nuts, then serve.

N.B

  • Chocolate has stress relieving properties. Banana’s are energizing. Spinach is great for brain function.
  • You can add in this mixture to your crepes or pancake batter if your prefer to eat them rather than drink them.
  • If you prefer, fresh ingredients can be used instead of frozen, this just makes for watery instead of a thick smoothie.

BROWNIES

WHAT YOU WILL NEED //

  • Ghirardelli fudge brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup of applesauce
  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds or 1 egg

The applesauce acts as a water supplement so there is no need to add any water.

HOW TO DO //

Stir all mixture in a bowl, then transfer over to a baking tray and then bake at 350*F (according to instructions on the mix packaging) for about 45 minutes. Take out of the oven immediately once timer sets off and place on a rack to cool before cutting and serving.

You can enjoy this with the smoothie from above or the greenicy tea recipe from the previous post.
